Plan to Attend Qupid's All Blaque Affair -- February 14, 2025!

Omega Men of Horry County (OMHC) is a non-profit corporation and is operated exclusively for educational, youth mentoring, and charitable purposes as seen in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The mission of OMHC is to enhance the development of youth in Horry County, preparing them to face the challenges of a complex and changing world. Further, OMHC provides funds for student scholarships and to selected community organizations that aligns with its mission.

About the Event

“Qupid's All Blaque Affair” is an Annual Mardi Gras Fundraising Event to support scholarships and other charitable goals by Omega Men of Horry County. OMHC is a 501c3's corporation. Your ticket purchase is tax deductible within the laws of the IRS. The Affair will feature DJ Skillz, dance floor, buffet dinner, photo opportunities, cash bar, and other festive activities.

Attire

The attire for the Affair is Semi-Formal Black: Semi-formal Dresses/Pants, Suits, Black Dress, and Black Footwear.

Backpack Preparation

OMHC will participate in the Community Back-to-School Backpack and School Supplies. OMHC will provide clear backpacks with school supplies.

HELP4KIDS

OMHC will provide financial assistance to Horry County HELP4Kids Backpack Buddies Program.

Events Director and Liaison for Mardi Gras Scholarship.

The OMHC Events Director is coordinates reviews all event requests to ensure they meet the goals outlined in the Bylaws and the South Carolina Secretary of State requirements for charitable organizations.

The Community Services Directors is the face of OMHC to community. The director proactively engages with the community to ensure OMHC is providing community services as outlined in the Bylaws.

The Reporter is responsible for delivering updates on current OMHC activities and keeping the public abreast through newsletters, social media, and other communication delivery systems. Also, the Assistant to the Secretary serves in the absence of the Secretary.
